Hospitality Libya is officially a socialist country with all the
hotels belong to the state in the country currently coexist two types of hotels,
which are completely state and those with foreign participation.
Hotel State:
These are hotels that do not belong to state broadcaster, each seopera
independently, are usually large hotels built in high building, apparently have
great bearing on the outside, especially in Tripoli and Bengazhi, good location.
Another thing is very different and their management in general are very poor,
seem as stuck in the 70s or 80s.
Another drawback of these hotels is that being fully state, the government may
dispose of them for reasons of national interest at any time, leaving the
potential effect the international tourist receipts, the visit of a foreign
president and his entourage, an official reception
are sufficient to implement the clause of "national interest."
Hotels Mixed:
Hotels where the state are still having the most participation, are managed by
NTERNATIONAL hotel companies, or the private sector.
are scarce, but at least the service is better and are more
prepared, these hotels have many workers from Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia
